I was born and raised near Detroit, Michigan and owe a lot of my interest in tattooing to Terry “Tramp” Welker, owner of Eternal Tattoos and Matt Jones of Kleen Sting Tattoo. When I was 16, I got my first tattoo. It was then, I decided tattooing was for me. I started tattooing in Grand Junction, CO. Art has always been a passion in my life and now that art is my job. I couldn’t be happier. My main goal in tattooing is to translate the idea of the client into a tattoo piece that will look beautiful on skin and will be an original piece of artwork. I also want to insure that the piece will hold up over time. I love what I do and each piece is important to me. The experience of my client needs to be a very positive one. For someone to choose me to tattoo a permanent piece of art on their body is a big responsibility and an honor and one that I do not take lightly. My work is extremely important because it is a representation of me as an artist and a representation of the ideas and personality of the client. Having a personal connection with clients and making their vision become real makes this process very rewarding and I feel very fortunate to have found tattooing as a career. I look forward to new opportunities to translate peoples’ ideas through the medium of tattooing and expanding myself as a person and an artist.
I'm a Colorado native and my interest in art and tattooing began in my early teen years. I began getting tattooed as soon as I could and this has continued ever since. After college, graduate school and a brief four year stint in the corporate world, I decided I needed to pursue my passion. I needed to be happy. Tattooing is that passion and happiness for me. I apprenticed under Ryan Willard, here at Marion Street, beginning in June of 2012. Each day I strive to learn and grow as an artist and further my tattooing ability. Being surrounded by the talent and leadership at Marion Street helps this happen on a daily basis. I love tattooing and what it means for each client that comes into the shop. I look forward to each tattoo opportunity and helping each client's vision become reality.
Brandon comes to us from Kansas City via Salisbury, Missouri. He is a former high school art teach with a fine art background. He has a passion for tattooing and portrait painting. He began has apprenticeship under Ryan Willard in September 2012 and has been a part of the Marion Street Tattoo family ever since.
I began my career as a tattooer in 2008. I enjoy learning more and more everyday about different styles of art and meeting the people that make it all possible. I have met so many interesting people because of tattooing and I hope to make every tattoo I do a very memorable one for them. I owe Sirris Slay of Ink Therapy Tattoo a debt of gratitude for bringing me into the industry that has changed my life. I tattooed in Arizona for the entirety of my career and have recently been welcomed to the Marion Street Crew. I am excited to call Colorado my home and I look forward to many more years of tattooing and making artwork for the people of Colorado.
My favorite thing about art is that I can do anything I want with it. The options are endless, no two things are the same, and there is no end to the pursuit of perfection. I have been tattooing since 2015 and I fall in love with it more every day.
